The Importance of the Program to the region
The implementation of PPGBC in the Altamira University Campus of UFPA enabled the undergraduates of the university in the region to have the opportunity to continue their studies by means of admission to the graduate level, which contributed significantly to the development of teaching and the qualification of professionals working in the Transamazon and Xingu region, as well as in other places in the Amazon. The Program also opens perspectives for professionals graduated in undergraduate courses that act or intend to work in basic education, who can use the knowledge acquired in the course to improve their teaching practice and also develop basic education in the Amazon region or in other regions of Brazil.
